Soil Scientists

The children in Year 3 have been analysing rocks and soils. They were given the statement ‘soil is just black dirt!”  They were asked to prove this statement right or wrong and give evidence from their soil research…. They found: seeds, eggs, organic material, shells, sand, branches, roots and grit. I wonder how much they can now find out about a very important scientist – Mary Anning. Good Luck!
