Y4 trip to Royal Armouries.
July 3 @ 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
On Thursday 3rd July, Year 4 will be going on their final trip of the year to the Royal Armouries, Leeds, to take part in a ‘Ancient Greek: Myths and Legends’ workshop.
On the day there will be various activities for the children to join in with so they can really understand what it was like to be a Greek all those years ago. The activities include: a spartan drill, revisiting the stories of Medusa and Perseus and a live demo of a typical day in Ancient Greece.
We will be travelling on a coach leaving school at 9am and returning for 3pm.
We are asking for a £10 voluntary contribution towards the trip which covers the cost of the coach, the workshops and time spent in the museum afterwards. As always if not enough funds are raised the trip will not be able to take place. Please log into ParentPay to consent to your child attending this trip. If you are free school meals please indicate whether you would like school to provide a lunch.
We would appreciate any parent/carer volunteers who would be willing to support us with our trip – thank you!
Yours faithfully
Mrs Foster & Miss Thompson
